Hailing from the English countryside young singer, songwriter Ellie Cornell brings a potent combination of passion and backbone to her music. Claiming courage & inspiration from artists like P.J Harvey and Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley and Heather Nova, Ellie writes lyrics that have been described as "open, heartfelt, at times jaw-dropping."

After performing with bands of various genres, Ellie went solo in 2009 to produce her first studio EP The Melting Pot. The response has taken her from small local rooms to some of London's top music venues. Dark-eyed & golden, a gypsy siren, Ellie Cornell has just begun scratching her name on the world of music.
